Longbow Course

Denis Brown from Castle Longbows runs a two day course for clubs. We had him along for a weekend, two days of mayhem comenced!

Day 1

The day started with a chat and a hand out of materials. Then ensued string making and first round of taking the micky out of selected victim number one.
	After making the string we then started with the basic shaping of the the stave (will-be longbow). Then compulsory mickey taking of victim number two.
After basic shaping of the stave, the bow is now tillered. Revert to taking mickey of victim number one to keep them on their toes.
	Near to the end of the first day, fit the horn nocks, leave nocks to set overnight, clean room, further chat and lecture on what we have done so far.
